Confidence… something that seems so hard to get these days. Social media can be so draining to that part of us. We tend to compare our lives to those who are “famous”, who only indulge in luxurious things. We forget to be thankful for the blessings we have. Let me tell you, almost everything you see online is just a small fraction of someone’s reality. They’re only showing you the best parts, because nothing is appealing about the hardships. But, not everyone has that mind set all the time. I admit it’s hard to not be jealous of the influencers I follow. Comparing my life to other’s is a struggle sometimes.
So, how can I change my mindset? How can I build my confidence everyday? Well, just talk to yourself like you’re your own biggest fan. Compliment yourself, and give yourself the best pep talk every morning. We need to remember to love ourselves, because it’s so easy to forget how.
